Learning
“For wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul. Discretion will protect you, and understanding will guard you.” - Proverbs 2:10-11
Learning Hive Christian Academy is an international primary level school that follows the English National Curriculum through the adaptation of the Cambridge International Curriculum. Mathematics instruction is done using the Singapore Mathematics Approach; although the mathematics benchmarks for each grade level meets the Cambridge International criteria. The above-mentioned curriculum and method of instruction allows for LHCA to offer an excellent academic programme that is strongly integrated with Christian values and teachings.
Learning at LHCA is geared towards giving the students a solid foundation to navigate through life, achieving academic success with a Christian worldview. Our students have the opportunity daily to let their uniqueness shine as they acquire the knowledge, skills, and values they need to achieve at secondary school, university and beyond.
Our small class sizes allow for teacher-directed and student-directed instruction that ensures that our students get deep subject knowledge as well as the conceptual understanding that helps students make links between different aspects of a subject (Cambridge International). We strive to make learning at Learning Hive Christian Academy ENJOYABLE in an atmosphere that is saturated with God’s love.
Christian Worldview
“To give children a good education in manners, arts and science, is important; to give them a religious education is indispensable, and an immense responsibility rests on parents and guardians who neglect these duties.” – Noah Webster
Christian Worldview at Learning Hive Christian Academy…
We believe in the infallible Word of God and that His son, Jesus Christ died to save us from our sins. God’s word offers the framework that shapes our thoughts and beliefs on how we and our students interpret the world and interact with the world. We navigate through life on God’s love for us, as we endeavour to live by His word so we may exemplify His love to the world.
We nurture our students to grow spiritually, knowing that God’s word impacts every area of our life! The staff at Learning Hive Christian Academy strive to teach by example!
“Blessed are those whose way is blameless, who walk in the law of the Lord! Blessed are those who keep his testimonies, who seek him with their whole heart, who also do no wrong, but walk in his ways! You have commanded your precepts to be kept diligently. Oh that my ways may be steadfast in keeping your statutes! Then I shall not be put to shame, having my eyes fixed on all your commandments. I will praise you with an upright heart, when I learn your righteous rules.”
– Psalm 119:1-7
